Newsletter 9/20-9/24

Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Thank you so much for coming to conferences. We had an overwhelming response. We thoroughly enjoy working with your child each day. Any time you ever have questions or concerns, please let us know. Our doors are always open.

Blood Drive:
Thank you for coming out to support the Farmington Blood Drive!

Rachel's Challenge:
Please fill out a paper chain for your child's kind acts at home so we can add to our "Chain Reaction"

Essential 55:
Each day we learn a life skill that we reinforce throughout all of our lessons. This is a school wide program. This week we discussed: 1. Call teachers by their names and greet them every day. 2. Keep our bathrooms clean--Let's stop disease. 3. Greet visitors and make them feel welcome. 4. Do not save seats in the lunchroom. 5. If a student is in trouble, don't stop and stare.

Just a Reminder:
1. Please send snack with your child every day. They are very hungry when they come in from recess.
2. Wednesday, 9/22 is Early Release Day. We will dismiss at 12:15.
3. Friday is Snack break. $1.50
4. September 25th is FES/Cuba vs. Central at 11:00

Letter Sounds:
We have learned all about the letters l, o, g, h, t, p. Your child should know how to make the capital and lowercase letters and make the sounds. Next week is letter a. Don't forget our Show and Tell is every Friday. Please help your child find something to share that goes along with the letter of the week.
