Letter S
Writing numbers correctly (goal is 1-100 by the end of the year)
Writing letter correctly on the lines (capital and lowercase)
All about Halloween!!  Scarecrows, bats, spiders, pumpkins, etc!!!

Fall Festival
Thank you for those who worked our class game for Fall Festival.  It was a wonderful night and a great way to support our PTO!

Halloween
Your child can wear their Halloween costume on Wednesday if they want!  Please no swords, knifes, etc!  If the costume has little pieces you may not want to bring them!

Spelling Words
We will work on the weekly spelling words at school, but please also practice at night.  Asking your child to spell out each word will not take long and the repetitive practice will help them pass their Friday spelling test.
1.       mitt               2.  pit              3.  sit              bonus:  green

Important Dates
November 2nd:  Snack Break
November 5th and 6th:  NO SCHOOL

Skills:
Please remember that you can NOT compare two students!  All students learn at different paces and that is what makes us all unique!!  Below are some skills we have worked on in class.  If you child has not mastered these skills, you may need to work with them at home.   The more positive practice they receive, the better off they will be!  We want your child to be successful and will continue to practice at school, but one-on-one at home is very beneficial!

1.       Counting to 50—Our goal is for them to count to 100 by the end of the year!
