Please remember that if we don’t have school, your child still has homework in his/her homework packet that should be completed and returned as scheduled. We are having trouble with students turning in homework late.

Please continue to work on Fry words. Every student should be finished with the first 25 by next Friday.

Thank you for always supporting our school and helping your child.

We need the following items: several boxes of cornstarch, large containers of whipped topping (not spray cans), several boxes of red jell-o. Please send one or more of these items if you can. Thanks.

Please be aware that we have several friends in our classrooms with nits (lice eggs). We are checking each student at least once a week. You will be notified if we find nits on your child so that you can take the necessary steps to clean your home, car, and your child, along with his/her belongings. If you need assistance purchasing the necessary items for ridding your home of the bugs and eggs, please call our family resource office (328-4830). They can also give you information you may need to keep your family from being re-infested.

This week we learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Please ask you son/daughter who is on the penny and who is on the one dollar bill.
