January Student of the Month

Farmington Elementary recognized Students of the Month in January for Athletics. Friends chosen for this honor excel at athletics in school and/or recreational athletics. We would like to give a HUGE shout out to LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT!! Thank you Lowes for donating aprons to our class to decorate. Students decorated the aprons with 100 items!

Avery & Tray our 100 yard dash overall winners!

Way to go!

We had a 100 yard dash in celebration of the 100th day of school. We took the three fastest boys and girls and had a "race off". Everyone did their best, but we ended up with an overall boy and girl winner. Tray won the title of "Fastest 100 yard runner" in Kindergarten for the boys, while Avery won that title for the girls. Way to go runners!

• No School on January 27. This was already in our schedule as a work day for teachers and assistants.

The 100th day of school is one of our most celebrated days of the year. We work on reaching many milestones by this date. Please remember to send your assigned food item (cheerios, fruit loops,
m & m’s, etc.) on Wednesday. Please also enjoy working on the Lowe’s apron your child brings home. See the note in his/her folder. Students need to wear their decorated aprons on Friday.

NO homework tonight, Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Graves County School System would like for you to enjoy the night with your family, free from any obligations.
